Fourth Collaboration Video “AC Milan in Japanimation” between Toyo Tires and AC Milan is live now! AC Milan vs. Gamba Osaka – A drift-off in animation by the creator of Captain Tsubasa 2017.12.7 Osaka, Japan TOYO TIRE & RUBBER CO., LTD. has unveiled “AC Milan in Japanimation”, the fourth collaboration video of its ongoing series with world-famous Italian Serie A team AC Milan. The video was released on Youtube on the 7th of December. ( Under the returning theme of “Surprising the World”, Toyo Tires (the tire brand of TOYO TIRE & RUBBER CO., LTD.) has delivered another video guaranteed to entertain. This time, the end result is something truly unique, as “Captain Tsubasa” creator Yoichi Takahashi was enlisted to collaborate on the animation that is this video’s key feature. “Captain Tsubasa”, a manga (Japanese cartoon) about football, is beloved around the world, with many football players and enthusiasts counting themselves among the fans. Furthermore, the animated version was broadcast in over 50 countries. The video is set in Osaka, Japan. AC Milan’s players appear together with the pros of a local Japanese team, Gamba Osaka (Toyo Tires is proud to also support local football in Japan through its platinum sponsorship of Gamba). On a team bus, Riccardo Montolivo is casually reading a manga – until a car suddenly jumps out of it. After a series of furious drifts, the AC Milan players exit a Mercedes G63, while the Gamba Osaka players get out of a Mercedes SL400. Both cars are equipped with Toyo Tires’ own PROXES series of tires. The football pros then face off in a thrilling drift-off, a breakneck duel that takes place alternately in the real and animated world. The stage of the battle shifts to some of Osaka’s most locations, with the chief ingredient of the city’s famous Takoyaki (octopus balls) also making a special guest appearance. The head of Toyo Tires’ brand communication team, Yoshiyuki Morikuni, commented that “We want to go beyond the expectations of our customers in continuing to surprise people around the world, and we are undergoing a variety of activities to that end. For the fourth installment of this series, we thought we would go in a different direction from previous videos by creating a unique mash of the real world and an animated world together with the great Yoichi Takahashi. The video features a “battle” between two football teams we sponsor. The amazing pass-work from the AC Milan players, as well the car chase featuring G63 and SL400 Mercedes cars customized in each teams’ color, are a must-see.” The previous videos of the series have been viewed by millions of fans from around the world. Check them below: 1st Video「AC Milan vs Super Car」(November 2014, 6.6 million views) 2nd Video「Chase in Milan」(December 2015, 8.1 million views) 3rd Video「AC Milan vs. Drift Cars」(December 2016, 8.2 million views) Toyo Tires aims to continue to exceed their customers’ expectations by delivering new surprises and undertaking new challenges on a global scale. ■ Video Summary

PIKES PEAK, Colo., Sept 25, 2017 /PRNewswire/ --...
PIKES PEAK, Colo., Sept 25, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- Toyo Tires® presents Climbkhana the next generation of Ken Block's wildly successful and award-winning Gymkhana series of viral videos. The all new concept is a hybrid of the driving showcased in the previous films, blended with a rally-road style attack on unique roads around the world. To kick off this new series, Ken Block chose what is arguably one of the most famous roads out there: The Pikes Peak Highway outside Colorado Springs, CO. Experience the interactive Multichannel News Release here: The Pikes Peak International Hill Climb is the most well-known hill climb in the world, billed as America's second oldest, continually running race (the Indianapolis 500 is first), it's also one of the first places Block ever raced in his career. "When I was young, I caught the Pikes Peak International Hill Climb on TV once or twice," said Block. "Even as a kid I remember dreaming about racing there some day because it looked so epic. Eventually I did, back in 2005, but it was in a Group N rally car which didn't have much power up in that high and thin air! It was an underwhelming experience because of the horsepower issue, but I loved the road and mountain - and I had always wanted to go back and do it right. So, to drive it like I get to drive in my Gymkhana videos - and do it in the Hoonicorn with 1,400 horsepower - well, that truly is a dream come true!" For Block, filming Climbkhana at Pikes Peak was a unique opportunity. While the road closes once a year for the Hill Climb, no one has ever been given the access to turn the landmark location into a playground. For production duties, Block once again brought his long-time friend and business partner at Hoonigan, Brian Scotto, to direct, but they also added a new face to the Hoonigan Media Machine formula: Eight-time Pikes Peak International Hill Climb Champion and Radical Media Director Jeff Zwart. "I have raced at Pikes Peak for 16 years and through the years I thought I had seen everything, but to witness Ken's skills on basically my home mountain and get to direct him at the same time, it was truly something amazing," explains Jeff Zwart, Climbkhana's co-director. "Nothing but respect for him and his whole team, both on the racing side and production side!" To tackle the extreme elevation gains experienced along the way up Pikes Peak, Block knew that he needed more horsepower for his 1965 Ford Mustang Hoonicorn RTR. So, Hoonicorn V2 was born. A 1,400 horsepower, twin-turbo, methanol-fueled machine that lights up its sticky Toyo® Proxes® R888R™ tires in every corner and properly updates the infamous build made famous in Gymkhana SEVEN, Wild in the Streets Los Angeles. Unfortunately, extreme engine builds and altitudes can prove challenging. Block and his crew experienced multiple production setbacks, having to go to the mountain on three separate occasions over 12 months due to both weather and development issues to be able to finish the film. "This car is insane," said Block. "I feel it genuinely wants to kill me! Before we added the twin turbos, it was the most fun car I've ever driven. Now it's still quite fun to drive, but it melts tires ridiculously quick. To have this thing be such a beast and then take it to this very dangerous mountain, well, I thought I'd maybe finally taken on a project that might be too much for me to handle. This is the most powerful AWD-type car in the world to be driven this way, so I'm genuinely glad I didn't die making this video!" Toyo Proxes R888R tires deliver the enhanced grip and stability Block needs when maneuvering the 1,400-horsepower Hoonicorn V2 around the famous curves of Pikes Peak. LeDuc qualified first for Saturday’s final round, while holding a slight lead in the championship points.  During the feature race, he chose a conservative strategy early on, and then methodically made his way to the front of the field to ultimately win Round 13.  This secured his place in history with his fifth Pro 4 Class Championship. “Our truck was so dialed in with our new setup and our always dependable Toyo tires,” said LeDuc.  “It has been 12-years strong using Toyo tires, and we are still killing them!” On Sunday, and with all the pressure off for winning a points championship; drivers got to compete in the prestigious Lucas Oil®Challenge Cup races to earn both bragging rights and big money.  The first of the cup races held on Sunday was for the Pro Lite class.  Team Toyo’s Brandon Arthur piloted his #6 MAV TV / Toyo Tires Chevrolet® truck to the overall race win.  Arthur also finished fifth overall in the 2017 Pro Lite class championship points, and second overall in the 2017 Production 1000 UTV class points with his #906 MavTV/Toyo Tires/HRT/Motorsports/KMC Yamaha YXZ1000R.  Both of his race vehicles use off-the-shelf Toyo Open Country A/T II tires for their successes. Then LeDuc topped his dream weekend by winning the Pro 2 VS Pro 4 Challenge Cup Race, the big money race that featured Pro 2 and Pro 4 class trucks running head-to-head.  The win represents LeDuc’s fourth Lucas Oil Challenge Cup victory. “Everyone at Toyo Tires is extremely proud to share a fifth Pro 4 class championship with Kyle LeDuc,” said Stan Chen, senior manager of events and sponsorships, Toyo Tire U.S.A. The Best Tyres for Your Jeep
Jeep is known to be the king of four wheel drive v...
Jeep is known to be the king of four wheel drive vehicles. It has the capabilities of driving over the steepest rocks as well as battling the muddy and wet grounds without difficulty. This is all possible with the right tyres. Off road tyres have specific features that make them the ultimate climbing tools. The treading is, of course, what gives the vehicle the grip to climb up on steep surfaces. The tread is also what allows liquid to pass through in case you are driving on a wet and muddy day. The size of the tyre is everything. The bigger the tyre the more surface area it can cover and the more stable it is. Larger tyres also make driving a 4X4 vehicle much easier and more comfortable for the driver. Larger profiles are safer too. You won’t really find off road tyres with a narrow sidewall because they need to be tough and resilient. More volume within the tyre benefits the driver whilst climbing over rocks. Remember that you won’t always be facing a blunt surface but rather more protruding hills that will stab into the tyres. The air inside the tyre helps to protect the wheel which gives the car more bounce when driving over certain obstacles. It thus decreases the likelihood of a puncture due to the amount of pressure placed on them. Besides being useful to the whole outdoor experience, the large, wide, deep tread tyres also give the Jeep an aggressive modified look that is admired by many people. So which brand of tyres will work best for a Jeep? BF Goodrich has a reputation of being the strongest brand when it comes to outdoor or off road driving. The rubber has been specially engineered to handle water, dry surfaces and cracking stones. Goodyear has various types of tyres that work well in any weather conditions and many types of terrain. They also have a reputation of being the highest performing tyres in different terrains and are a definite must have in terms of choosing tyres. Toyo is known as a performance tyre for quick and speedy cars. They infused their technology with Jeep’s technology to create an amazing combination. Not only do you have a smooth driving experience that handles like a sports car but you also have that aggressive performance that takes on the rocks with all its power and might. Longevity is also a promise when it comes to Toyo tyres.
Budget Tyres: A List of Affordable Tyres
It can be a mission to find affordable parts for y...
It can be a mission to find affordable parts for your car. One of the more important parts for your car would be the tyres. There are many different brands that could work perfectly for your car and your budget. Nexen Tyres is a well-known brand. Each one has a similar tread to the next but they all have different functions. They are perfect for the everyday driver who likes speed combined with performance. This option is definitely one of the more affordable ones. Toyo Tyres is another brand that is known by many drivers. They are multifunctional in different weather conditions and suitable for any vehicle. They are also affordable if your car is of the heavier type. Distance is not a problem either. No matter how far you drive they will not wear away as fast as you would think, so they are quite durable. Barum Tyres come in different varieties. These include winter tyres which work well with snow and have proper grip and summer tyres which work well with high and intense heat. These were also made for bigger cars and are strong enough to withstand the force of the car. This option is functional yet affordable. BF Goodrich is a well manufactured and engineered tyre to fit any car. They are affordable and work well for all types of driving. It’s also suitable for street racing. The treads have been perfectly designed to assist you while driving. Continental Tyres are one of the most common tyre brands in this world. They also come in a silent option. It might sound crazy but many people prefer silent tyres. This option is great for any type of car and is available for the sports versions as well. They also handle well under intense heat or summer weather. They are also made with rolling resistance which means you won’t need as much torque to drive up a hill after being stationery. It’s important to look for tyres that are efficient and functional. Cheap is not always the best option when it comes to driving. Always do research on the type of tyre you need based on the type of car you drive, your driving habits and your budget. Keep in mind that some tyres are not made for all weather conditions or for long distance driving, so you need to make the right decision. If you need to, consult with tyre retailer to give you advice based on your specifications.
The Benefits of the Toyo Tyres Proxes Range
Toyo has many different styles in their tyre range...
Toyo has many different styles in their tyre range and the Proxes range seems to be the most impressive of the lot. Proxes are a high quality performance tyre style that has many benefits when installed. The style is made for high performance cars and is meant to go at incredibly high speeds. Because the style is made for speed the tyre must have a low profile and be wide enough at the same time. Most sports cars and supercars are equipped with wide tyres because the more of the tyre that is in contact with the road, the lesser the chance you have of being in an accident. Proxes performance tyres often have a small amount of treading. The benefit of having minimum treading is that you won’t use as much fuel. The more friction the car creates, the bigger the consumption of petrol will be. Luckily the Proxes have been well designed to avoid you over spending whilst driving at high speeds. These performance tyres barely make noise. The best part about this feature is that you can only hear the engine. A car enthusiast will understand why hearing the sound of an eight cylinder can be so amazing. You wouldn’t want to block that marvellous engine noise out with the sound of rubber on tar. Handling has also been made easier when it comes to this Toyo range. The design of each of the treading has improved how you handle the car. Even though there is shallow treading, the car still handles like a racing beauty. The tyre range can drive through many different conditions whether it’s hot, cold or wet seasons. Many tyres have only been made for a specific region’s weather conditions but the Proxes is made for any conditions. The braking system works hand in hand with the Proxes range. The design has been drawn so specifically that, even though the treading isn’t deep, the car will still brake when you put pedal to the opposite metal. Combined together a beautiful tyre is made to enjoy the roads with little worry about too much tyre wear. The wear resistance is an important feature for most tyres as this means you wouldn’t have to change them as often as you think. Specifically designed for speed and harsh braking, the Proxes tyres range really does live up to their qualities. To be able to experience a car with high performance, the right tyres can make it an amazing adventure.
Drifting With Toyo Tyres

Starting up your racing car’s engine, you can already feel the vibrations of the pistons in your car. A race isn’t the same without that drifting action with a turbo charged V-8 engine. Imagine how it feels when the rubber of the Toyo Tyres is scraping across that tar. You rev her up to three thousand RPM and you can feel the tyres gripping into the floor edging in order to move forward. They are prepared to brake when you brake and accelerate when you open the engine to full throttle. You let the hand brake down and prepare yourself for a fast getaway. You trust Toyo Tyres because they can hold to the ground no matter what. As you edge more forward than your opponent, you can feel the speed pushing you back into your seat. As the road curve approaches you, instinctively you hold tighter onto the steering wheel. With your other hand you prepare to pull the hand brake up. As you brake, you can hear the tyres screeching as they drift across the tar. Smoke can be seen in your rear view mirror hiding your opponent in the pungent burning rubber smell. You release the hand brake and accelerate to win your victory. You can hear the tyres move in normal motion. Their smooth rotation makes the race more comfortable and quicker. As you approach the next curve, you notice that it cuts through a tunnel and you realise that you need to have maximum control to avoid knocking into the concrete cave. You lock your hand around the wheel and hold tight onto the hand brake once again. You feel the car slipping too closely to the wall and pull the wheel in the opposite direction as you release the hand brake and accelerate narrowly missing the wall. You feel proud that your Toyo Tyres managed to hold on to such torque and heat. The pain in your arm has finally been felt after that momentary adrenaline was felt. Your foot is stiff and locked at the ankle from the angle that you held it on the throttle. What would you have done without performance tyres? Toyo Tyres are reliable performance tyres that are known for their quality, which makes them ideal for racing and drifting. They are able to hold on to any tar road and give you maximum performance with a comfortable drive.

Toyo Tyres became partners with the football club to gain popularity over their brand. The two work hand in hand to support the upkeep of their plans. The football club needed a sponsorship and the Toyo Tyres needed the recognition. The football team is made up of players who each have a strong story behind them. They all had the will to win and fight for a victory they never thought was possible. As they fought to, at least, win a match, they got closer to the glory of their battle. Because they believed in themselves, others started believing in them too. They got more supporters and had new supporters believing in them once again. The supporters cheered every time a player got closer to the goal post because they knew that they had been getting closer to scoring like they have never done before. At the time of their victorious score, no one knew what to do. They had just witnessed the unimaginable happening before their eyes. It was strategically planned and the adrenaline had come to a halt when they realised what they had achieved. It wasn’t just a goal, it was the winning goal that made them advance to other rounds in the league. Toyo Tyres felt that this was an incredible inspiration. It inspired football fans and non-football fans alike. Inspiration extends to all aspects of our lives and that includes the car we drive and the tyres we want. Why just imagine it when you are in reach of your dream? After all, anything is possible when you set your mind to it. The two parties forming a partnership inspired many people. With Toyo Tyres being well known in the racing circuit and Leicester City Football Club not advancing to many finals, people believed that with practise you can move forward and achieve your dreams. All you need is the right support structure. If you’re feeling like giving up and letting go of a dream, you are making a mistake that could change your life. Just like these partners, each gained a success and victory of the goal because they refused to give up. You should always strive for greater in order to achieve what you are working for. Just like Toyo Tyres you can achieve greatness.
